Help us Offset Carbon Emissions
Posted by: | CommentsSemillas de Amor undertakes campaign to reduce carbon emissions. Where we cannot eliminate, we’ll offset through Carbonfund.org. You can help us offset our carbon footprint at a cost of just $10 per ton.
We estimate that in 2009 we’ll use nearly 130 metric tons of carbon dioxide. The cost of offsetting our consumption is $1300. Semillas de Amor is undertaking aggressive programs to reduce and offset our carbon emissions such as installing LED bulbs for all light fixtures, worm-based composting, as well as solar water heaters and perimeter lighting.
Please help us keep Guatemala, and the rest of the world, green. For more information on offsetting your carbon footprint, visit www.carbonfund.org.
Thank you for your continued support of Semillas de Amor.
