HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!
Posted by: | CommentsAt Semillas de Amor we work hard to make sure our kids don’t miss out on family events and important memories. Being a family of 25 just makes organization a bit more challenging but so much fun. This year’s celebration was very special because we had our volunteer Mrs. Joyce with us and she had been working with the kids on a special song and all of the decorations. What a huge treat for us. The kids started out with the version of Michael Jackson’s THRILLER. The link for the THRILLER video is attached below. There is also a link to a video photo slideshow and a photo book. Enjoy! The kids were GREAT!!! The kids went trick or treating and then we had a wonderful lunch. We also celebrated our October birthdays, Luvia, Gaby, Jeferson and Victor!
Our children thrive because of our sponsors and donors, and we are so grateful to you. We wish everyone a HAPPY HALLOWEEN! All of us at Semillas de Amor send a huge thank you for making our children’s lives so full and their futures so bright.
Senator Landrieu returns to Guatemala to fight for the kids!!!!

All of us at Semillas de Amor and Seeds of Love are so appreciative to Senator Landrieu and the Guatemala900 for their non stop advocacy to get the kids home. This truly has been insane and so many families have lost children needlessly as well as families waiting almost four years, and some longer, to bring their children home. This should have NEVER happened. The Guatemala900 is a grassroots, small group of parents who have adopted children from Guatemala and have challenged the legal system to bring home children who should have been with their families years and years ago. It is tragic. Now the Guatemala900 and the kids, who have been left behind, have a huge advocate in Senator Mary Landrieu and on July 5th Senator Landrieu returns to Guatemala to see what, if any, progress has been made to get the kids home. Thank you Guatemalan900 and Senator Landrieu and all those people “behind the scene” that are fighting for these children’s rights, we are eternally grateful. Read More→
